Historic Places - Society Properties
The first property that the San Antonio Conservation Society owned was a door to the San Jose Granary, which it purchased for $50 in 1926 to keep the caretaker from selling its brass medallions to tourists. Since then, 28 historic properties have passed through Society hands. society properties
